Hofstra lefty Rasmussen brings strike-throwing polish and early college upside
Christian Rasmussen profiles as a competitive Hofstra **pitcher** with a track record of limiting damage and missing bats, highlighted by a **1.34 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 15 2/3 innings** at Cheshire in 2023 before earning first-team all-league honors. He looks like a fit for teams that value poise, efficiency, and a starter or leverage arm who can attack the zone rather than just overpower hitters. The main reason to care: his performance suggests a reliable, coachable arm with room to grow, though publicly available scouting detail on his current college workload is limited.
