Former Marquette Guard Joseph Chartouny Was Valued for Defense and Floor Leadership
Joseph Chartouny was a transfer guard at Marquette for the 2018–19 season after starting his college career at Fordham, and he was known more for stabilizing a backcourt than for big scoring numbers. He entered the 2017 NBA Draft process while retaining college eligibility, which hints at a player with confidence and pro aspirations, and his value profile centered on toughness, playmaking, and perimeter defense rather than volume offense.
