Siena freshman Carlie Venables brings compact infield value and timely contact
Carlie Venables has already shown she can contribute in pressure spots, scoring Siena’s first run on an infield single in a 2026 game against Marist, and her 56-game rookie season suggests the Saints trust her to play and produce. Siena’s roster notes also point to an academically driven, high-character player who earned East-COMM Academic Honor Roll and Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete recognition. At 5'0" with a right-handed bat and glove, she profiles as a quick, high-effort infielder who adds grit, reliability, and short-game value more than pure power.
