a 6'8" forward with pro size and a low-usage, role-player profile
Bottenberg brings **size, length, and positional flexibility** at 6'8", with a background that suggests he can slot into a frontcourt rotation without needing the ball to be effective. His most recent college-level stat line with South Carolina State was modest — 1.9 points and 1.4 rebounds per game — so he profiles more as a *connector* and depth piece than a featured scorer. The appeal is upside as a sturdy, experienced forward who can help on defense and fit into a structured system; the concern is that he has not yet shown major offensive production.
