Big-bodied Mississippi State TE with almost no game tape, but legit developmental upside
In the 2025 season, Sam Paxton was a Redshirt Senior tight end at Mississippi State listed at 6-3, 240, and he appeared in only one game, making his collegiate debut against Alcorn State; there are no meaningful stat lines to mine yet. His appeal is mostly projection: he has SEC size, is on roster as an older, mature body, and brings classroom-first polish as a kinesiology student with a physical-therapy track. The catch? He’s still an evaluation-by-upside bet, not a proven producer.
