Katie Peneueta brings elite shooting touch, veteran poise, and two-way forward value for Sac State
In the 2024-25 season, Katie Peneueta returned to Sacramento State and immediately looked like a plug-and-play impact forward, averaging 8.8 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting .444 from the field and .391 from three. Her calling card is real versatility: she has been one of the Hornets’ best perimeter shooters, ranks among the program’s all-time leaders in 3-point accuracy, and adds rebounding plus rim protection from the frontcourt. The fit is easy to love if a team needs a smart, low-drama veteran who spaces the floor, competes hard, and has already proven she can contribute on a Final Four-caliber roster.
