Ty Toney’s a seasoned EMU guard who brings steals, poise, and punch
Ty Toney was a high-impact Eastern Michigan guard whose 2015-16 season featured 11.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game, with that steals rate ranking third in the MAC. His calling cards were defensive disruption, steady ball handling, and enough scoring pop to punish defenses when he got rolling. He also showed real composure at the line, including a perfect 10-for-10 free-throw night against Ball State. If you want an energetic, two-way guard who can set a tone without needing plays drawn for him, Toney fits the mold.
