Peyton Dwigans is a power-hitting, defensively trusted freshman catcher for EIU
In the 2026 season, Peyton Dwigans played 17 games for Eastern Illinois and even showed some pop with a home run and RBI production in key moments, including a homer against Southern Indiana and another against Tennessee State. The big selling points are her catch-and-throw profile, right-handed bat, and proven winning background at Penn High School, where she helped lead championship-level teams and earned All-State recognition as a senior. Add in NFCA scholar-athlete honors, and you get a steady, high-upside catcher who brings toughness, polish, and a bit of thump.
