proven shot-maker and two-way SEC guard who led Alabama in scoring
Shackelford built his Alabama résumé as a high-volume scorer and aggressive perimeter threat, leading the Crimson Tide in scoring across his two seasons and earning Second-Team All-SEC honors in 2021 and 2022, plus SEC All-Freshman recognition in 2020.[1][6] At 6-foot-3, he brings instant offense, deep shooting range, and enough defensive value to have made an All-Defensive team, which makes him appealing to teams needing a guard who can create his own shot and survive in a physical system.[2][7]
