Luca Mannino is a young Stony Brook arm with real strikeout juice
In the 2026 season, Luca Mannino appeared in 13 games for Stony Brook, logged 22.0 innings, struck out 19, and picked up one save while working primarily as a right-handed pitcher out of the bullpen[1][2]. His calling card is competitive mound presence and swing-and-miss potential, but the early college stat line also shows he is still smoothing out command and consistency, which is normal for a rookie arm[1][2]. He arrived with momentum after a dominant high-school senior season, including a no-hitter and a 9-0 record, so the upside is obvious if your team wants a live arm who can grow into leverage innings[7][10].
