Caroline McLendon gives UAB a lefty swing-pitcher look with big-inning upside
In the 2026 season, Caroline McLendon has been a valuable arm for UAB’s circle, flashing a left-handed profile that can change looks and steady a game in relief or as a starter. UAB reports she has delivered scoreless work, including four shutout innings in a February win, while also showing strikeout capability and enough mound toughness to eat innings when needed[4][6]. Her 2025 profile also points to a durable, experienced junior with prior heavy usage and a reputation for competing in pressure spots, which makes her a fit for teams wanting a crafty LHP who can disrupt timing and stabilize staff depth[13][14].
