Bloodgood brings proven all-purpose explosiveness to Rutgers’ WR room
Gunnison Bloodgood is a compact, versatile Rutgers receiver with a real track record of production and impact on special teams: in 2022 at Morehead State he played all 11 games, posted 25 catches for 305 yards and a touchdown, and added a punt-return score plus a 95-yard kickoff return, showing big-play juice beyond the box score.[1][3] His value is his speed, agility, and multi-phase playmaking, but he has yet to see game action at Rutgers in 2023 or 2024, so the fit is more about upside and depth than immediate proven Big Ten production.[1][13]
