Corey Heyward brings veteran backcourt steadiness to Georgia Tech
Corey Heyward is a guard whose value goes beyond scoring: Georgia Tech has leaned on him for minutes, ball movement, and defensive toughness, and past team notes show he can handle a heavy role while creating for others. His biggest differentiators are his experience, physicality, and willingness to do the little things, though his offensive efficiency has been inconsistent, so he fits best as a glue-guy guard rather than a primary scorer. In a team setting, he makes sense for a coach who values composure, effort, and reliable connective play.
