promising SEMO kicker with JUCO production — and a college career cut far too short
Danny Duray entered Southeast Missouri State in 2024 as a freshman kicker, redshirted that season, and then showed real leg strength and reliability at College of DuPage in 2025, where he hit 32 of 33 PATs and 10 of 13 field goals for 62 points. His standout traits were power and versatility—he also played soccer in high school and had 17 touchbacks and a field goal in only four prep games. For a team, that profile says "strong specialist upside," but his status must be weighed against the tragic fact that his career and life ended in February 2026.
