Richmond’s Glenn Smith brings two-way versatility, but his current impact is still largely projection-based
Smith is a 5-foot-10 freshman right-handed pitcher/infielder at Richmond whose biggest selling point is flexibility: the Spiders list him as both a RHP and infielder, and his prep résumé includes four varsity seasons, district titles, First Team All-District honors, Honorable Mention All-State, Academic All-State, and team captaincy. That profile suggests a competitive, coachable player with makeup and multi-role value more than a finished statistical resume, so he fits best as a developmental arm with upside if a team values athleticism, adaptability, and intangibles.
