Ellie Giles gives Belmont a proven arm with lower-2s control and steady conference production
Ellie Giles has been a reliable pitcher for Belmont, posting a 2.92 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in the 2026 season, with even stronger conference numbers at 2.85 ERA and 1.03 WHIP while helping the Bruins to an 18-9 mark in the cited team stats. Her differentiator is efficiency: she looks more like a strike-throwing, game-managing arm than a pure power-outlier, which can be valuable for a staff that wants consistency and control. Publicly available recruiting/social posts also show she arrived with a solid reputation and a top-123 state ranking, but there is not enough reliable public reporting here to detail injury history or deeper personality traits.
