Moreno Ortiz is CSUMB’s high-motor, two-way bucket-getter
In the 2025-26 season, Jennifer Moreno Ortiz emerged as a steady scoring engine for Cal State Monterey Bay, averaging 12.9 points per game while adding 4.4 rebounds, 50 assists and 41 steals across 27 games. She’s more than a box-score guard: the Otters’ reports and game recaps show a player who can catch fire from deep, attack in big moments, and log heavy minutes without blinking. That combination of shot-making, activity and toughness makes her a legit fit for a team needing perimeter scoring, defensive pressure and a guard who brings juice every night.
