Ellis Jefferson brings steady, all-around guard play to Lamar
In the 2021-22 season, Ellis Jefferson gave Lamar a dependable, do-a-little-bit-of-everything guard who averaged 5.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals, with the kind of across-the-board production coaches love[1]. He also flashed real defensive activity and rebounding from the backcourt, and a game note from 2021-22 listed him at 3.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game, reinforcing his value as a connector rather than a volume scorer[1]. If you want a guard who can organize the offense, compete on the glass, and bring toughness every possession, Jefferson is the kind of glue guy worth caring about[1].
