Lefty Samford outfielder with a track record of contact, speed, and steady production
Dutton is a **left-handed Samford outfielder** whose current 2026 line (.258/.353/.336 in 151 plate appearances) suggests a solid, on-base-oriented bat with room for more impact power[1][5]. His prep profile showed a **93.8 mph max exit velocity** and **7.01-second 60-yard dash**, hinting at a blend of bat-to-ball juice and enough athleticism to handle center-field duties[2]. Samford’s roster bio also points to a player who has already produced at the college level, including a strong sophomore year, which matters if you want a dependable, experienced piece rather than a pure upside bet[4].
