Monmouth’s Robert Kelly is a versatile bat-with-pop sophomore who keeps showing up in big spots
In the 2026 season, Robert Kelly has been a useful two-way roster piece for Monmouth, listed as an infielder/right-handed pitcher and delivering timely offense, including a grand slam and multiple run-scoring hits in early-season CAA action.[1][2][3] The appeal is the versatility: he can handle multiple roles, has shown patience with walks, and has flashed real power when it matters most.[2][4][5] If a team wants a gritty, adaptable player who can be plugged into different spots and isn’t rattled by leverage, Kelly fits the bill.[1][2]
