FIU’s Zamya McBurrows brings defensive flash and timely RBI production
Zamya McBurrows profiles as a valuable FIU infield piece because she combines reliable run production with high-effort defense, including a standout diving catch that drew attention from softball clips and FIU’s own social coverage. In FIU’s 2026 Conference USA opener, she drove in one of the Panthers’ two runs, showing she can contribute in pressure spots. The best fit is a team that values athleticism, competitiveness, and momentum plays as much as box-score output.
