Carter Turley brings depth and defensive value behind the plate for Hawai‘i
Turley is listed on Hawai‘i’s 2026 baseball roster as a catcher, but there are no current season stats surfaced here for him, so the most reliable read is that he’s a depth piece whose value will come from defense, game management, and handling pitchers rather than loud offensive numbers. Catchers who stick in the UH program have to earn trust quickly, and Turley’s fit looks strongest if your team wants a steady, detail-oriented backstop who can learn a staff and keep the game organized.
