Big Sky assist leader, steady backcourt engine for Montana State
Xavier Bishop was the kind of guard coaches trust: a quick, ball-dominant creator who led Montana State in scoring and paced the Big Sky in total assists, while also posting a strong assist-to-turnover ratio. At 5-foot-8, he brings craft, pace, and toughness more than raw size, and his game is built on decision-making and pressure handling rather than empty volume. He also showed he can deliver in big moments, including a 19-point, eight-assist conference title-game performance, making him a good fit for a team needing poise and playmaking in the backcourt.[2][6][8]
