Lee Sowers brings left-handed bat, infield versatility, and sneaky pop to UNC
In the 2025 season, North Carolina infielder Lee Sowers flashed immediate value as a freshman, hitting .357 with 2 runs and 4 RBIs in just 14 at-bats while making three starts, and he was ranked No. 123 overall in the 2024 recruiting class by Perfect Game. He’s a left-handed hitter with a right-handed arm, plays the infield, and already showed some clutch instincts with a game-winning hit against Wake Forest. For a roster, that profile says “competitive depth with upside” — not just a body, but a bat that can surprise and a player who seems to deliver when the moment gets loud.
