Rookie catcher with verified high-level prep pedigree for St. Bonaventure
Schrems enters St. Bonaventure as a freshman catcher from Northville High and Team Finesse, bringing a strong recruiting resume and a right-right profile that fits a defensively demanding role.[2][3] Her prep background has already drawn external attention, including RISE Softball listing her among Michigan preseason top performers, which suggests a player with real arm-and-control upside rather than just raw depth-chart potential.[1] Early 2026 stat tracking shows limited college production so far, so the appeal is projection: a young catcher with room to grow, a solid pedigree, and the kind of defensive position that can make her valuable beyond batting line noise.[3]
