Joshua Jones flashed big-play juice in Fairmont State’s opener
In the 2026 season, Fairmont State freshman RB Joshua Jones erupted for 108 rushing yards on 11 carries with a touchdown in the opener at Dayton, showing efficiency, burst, and the kind of downhill pop that can change a drive in one snap. He led the Falcons’ ground attack against a Division I opponent, and early reporting from the program points to him as a key offensive spark. If you want a back with early-game impact, speed through contact, and upside, Jones is absolutely worth a closer look.
