Kennedy Retherford brings efficient perimeter shooting and freshman upside to Truman State
Kennedy Retherford entered Truman State as a high-IQ guard with a proven scoring résumé, and in the 2025-26 season she flashed quick-hit value by shooting 44.0% from the field and a team-best 44.4% from three on 8-of-18 attempts in 13 games, despite just 5.4 minutes per game. She was a decorated high-school winner at Pewaukee, where she helped power a state-title run and earned all-conference and all-state honorable mention nods. If you need a low-drama, spacing-friendly guard who can grow into more shot volume, she’s a smart fit.
