Kentucky’s high-motor rim protector with NBA-level blocking instincts
In the 2020-21 season, Isaiah Jackson was a disruptive Kentucky forward who averaged 8.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks in 25 games, earning All-SEC Freshman and All-Defensive honors. His separator is easy to spot: elite shot-blocking timing, nonstop energy, and a long, explosive frame that turns the paint into a no-fly zone. The tradeoff was that his offense was still developing, so he fit best as a defensive tone-setter and rim-runner for a team that values effort, mobility, and upside.
