Queens catcher Michael Brunetti is a low-profile upside play with proven bat contact and defensive value
Brunetti is a right-handed catching prospect whose profile points to a steady, team-first backstop with a compact 5'10", 190-pound build, a strong throwing reputation, and a reported 1.93 pop time from his recruiting profile. Queens’ 2026 roster lists him, but it does not show season statistics yet, so his current on-field production for the Royals is not publicly documented there. That makes him more of an evaluation-based fit: a catcher whose value would come from defense, game control, and developmental upside rather than headline numbers.
