Will Saxenmeyer brings SEC-sized frame and projectable arm strength to Sacred Heart’s staff
In the 2026 season, Will Saxenmeyer appeared in eight games for Sacred Heart and logged 7.2 innings with a 22.30 ERA and six strikeouts, so the results were rocky, but his 6-foot-5, 215-pound right-handed build still screams upside[1][2]. Earlier scouting reports pegged his fastball up to 88 mph with a quick over-the-top arm action, which suggests a power-profile arm that can miss bats when the delivery is synced up[3]. He looks like a high-variance fit: intriguing raw tools, but a command-and-consistency project before he becomes a reliable bullpen piece[1][3].
