NC Central’s Wynter Williams brings contact bat, backup production, and academic reliability behind the plate
Wynter Williams is a 5'4" catcher for North Carolina Central who has shown efficient, opportunistic offense and dependable depth value: in 2025, she started 9 of 16 games and drove in key runs, including an RBI in a March 2026 game against Gardner-Webb and a 2-RBI performance in an April 13, 2025 win over UMES. Her profile suggests a smart role player with academic discipline as a MEAC All-Academic selection, and her all-district, all-league high-school background points to a composed, coachable presence. If you need a steady catcher who can contribute without needing the spotlight, she fits that mold.
