Riley Cruce brings proven left-handed depth and late-inning value for Mercer
Cruce is a senior **LHP** who gives Mercer a playable left-handed arm with real bullpen utility, after making **18 appearances** and recording **seven saves** in his most recent listed season while working **16.1 innings** with **15 strikeouts**. He’s the kind of pitcher a staff can trust for matchup value and situational leverage, and his profile has long been built on a legitimate left-handed mix with usable “stuff” rather than pure velocity alone. For a team, he looks like a compact, high-leverage depth add with experience and competitive pedigree.
