Shane Blakeney is Drexel’s two-way tone-setter
In the 2025-26 season, Shane Blakeney emerged as Drexel’s breakout guard, leading the Dragons in scoring at 14.2 points per game while also adding 5.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and elite defensive value as an All-CAA Second Team and All-Defensive Team selection. At 6-foot-5, he plays bigger than a typical guard, attacks the glass, creates across multiple levels, and brings real positional versatility; the differentiator is that he impacts winning without needing the ball every trip. If a team wants a long, physical, low-foul, high-motor wing-guard who can score and defend, he’s a very good fit.
