Canisius Sophomore Guard with Academic Excellence and Untapped Grit
Mike DiGiulio, a 6'0" sophomore guard for Canisius Golden Griffins in the MAAC, posted modest 2025-26 stats of 0.4 PPG, 0.1 RPG, and 37.5% FG while earning a spot on the MAAC All-Academic Team—highlighting his discipline and smarts off the court. From Buffalo, NY, he flashed high school dominance at Williamsville South (25 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 3.7 SPG as a senior), suggesting bench spark and defensive intensity waiting to ignite. Care about him for his local hustle and academics; he's a low-risk, high-upside fit for teams needing gritty role players who study the game as hard as they play it.
