Hayden Donahue brings strikeout ability, but command will define his next leap
Donahue is a right-handed pitcher for UL Monroe whose profile is built on getting outs in bulk: in the 2025 season at Memphis, he logged 59.1 innings with 59 strikeouts, but also issued 39 free passes, and at ULM he posted 11 strikeouts in 12.1 innings with a 6.57 ERA and a four-strikeout relief stint at Ole Miss. The draw is the arm talent and flashes of swing-and-miss stuff; the question for a team is consistency, especially tightening command and run prevention.
