Reliable lefty relief arm for High Point with strikeout upside
In the 2025 season, Kimel gave High Point a useful bullpen look, throwing 10.2 innings across 11 appearances with 9 strikeouts, including a perfect 3.1-inning debut against Toledo and a strong finish that saw him avoid allowing a run over his last four outings. The 6-foot-3 senior left-hander has shown he can miss bats and handle multi-inning relief work, which makes him attractive if you need a composed, matchup-friendly arm with size and late-inning versatility. The upside is real; the clean fit depends on whether you want a steady specialist or a pitcher who can stretch into longer relief stints.
