6-foot-7 lefty Dante Jackson gives CSUB a long, sneaky-valuable arm
In the 2024 season at Golden West College, Dante Jackson started all 14 appearances and logged 65.0 innings with a 4.71 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and 43 strikeouts, and CSUB’s notes highlighted his “imposing presence” on the mound.[2][5] In the 2025 season, he also showed he can be a useful multi-inning weapon, including 5.1 scoreless innings across three appearances in one week and a season-high six strikeouts in an outing, which points to a pitcher who can miss bats and handle pressure without much flash.[7][15]
