Luis Becerra is emerging as a reliable CBU bullpen weapon with swing-and-miss stuff
In the 2026 season, California Baptist right-hander Luis Becerra has posted a 3.27 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and 75 strikeouts across 52.1 innings, showing a real ability to miss bats and handle multi-inning work.[1] At 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, he brings a power frame, while game logs show both strikeout bursts and high-leverage usage—exactly the kind of arm that can shorten games and change a staff’s personality.[1][4][10]
