Delaney Baker brings veteran grit to SUU’s circle
In the 2026 season, Southern Utah senior pitcher Delaney Baker was a steady two-way-staff anchor, making 22 appearances, logging 68 innings, and picking up five wins while earning CSC Academic All-District honors[1]. SUU’s staff called her a dependable starter who can handle key innings, and her 2024 note of a complete game plus a save backs up the “grind-it-out” profile that fits a team needing poise, durability, and competitive edge[2][4].
