Parker Heintz brings Fresno State a live left arm with early impact potential
In his 2026 freshman debut, Parker Heintz quickly stood out for Fresno State by throwing 7.0 shutout innings over two appearances, allowing just one hit and earning Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors. The 6-foot-4 left-hander looks like more than a box-score arm: he has shown strike-throwing confidence, the ability to work multiple roles, and real bat-missing stuff, with a fastball that can reach the upper-90s and a low-80s breaking ball that gives hitters a different look. For a staff, he profiles as a high-upside, multi-inning piece with real starter/relief flexibility.[2][7][8]
