UMBC’s veteran forward Dimitrije Spasojevic brings size, efficiency, and steady veteran value
Dimitrije Spasojevic is a big-bodied, low-drama frontcourt piece for UMBC who has shown efficient finishing, rebounding pop, and enough defensive presence to matter in real minutes. In the 2020-21 season, he averaged 5.6 points and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 51% from the floor in 18.6 minutes, and in the 2021-22 season he played 25 games with eight starts, producing 4.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. The appeal is his proven toughness and reliable role-player profile—he’s the kind of veteran coach-friendly forward who can stabilize a rotation, even if he’s not a high-usage scorer.
