AJ Alexander brings compact, explosive freshman juice to North Alabama's backfield
AJ Alexander is a freshman RB at North Alabama in the 2026 season, listed at 5'8" and 185 pounds, and he arrives with a reputation as an explosive runner who has consistently produced in Alabama high school football. One preseason evaluation described him as a player who has “consistently dominated each year” and called him an “explosive RB,” which fits a back with quick burst and a smaller, tackle-breaking frame rather than a pure bruiser. He looks like the kind of athlete who can create value with acceleration and attitude—useful if a team wants a compact, high-energy runner who can flash early and keep defenses honest.
