JJ Gatti brings power, length, and Friday-night starter upside for ODU
In the 2026 season, Old Dominion RHP JJ Gatti has shown swing-and-miss stuff and real starter durability, including a five-inning, six-strikeout shutout against James Madison on May 15, 2026. His profile is built on a 6-3, 205-pound frame, strikeout ability, and the kind of heavy workload that lets a staff lean on him; the flip side is command volatility, with walk and hit-by-pitch issues surfacing in several outings. If your team wants a power arm with ceiling and edge, he’s worth caring about.
