Marcus Heusohn brings steady left-handed pop and glove-first reliability for McNeese
In the 2025 season, McNeese infielder Marcus Heusohn hit .327 with 15 doubles, three homers, and a .993 fielding percentage at first base, making him a dependable all-around bat with real gap-to-gap juice and almost no defensive noise. He also showed transfer-tested toughness and consistency, starting all 49 games and finishing third on the team in hitting, which is a strong sign he fits a lineup that values mature, low-drama production. The appeal here is simple: steady contact, extra-base ability, and a glove that keeps managers sleeping well at night.
