versatile 6-6 Davidson guard who helps everywhere, not just on the box score
In the 2012-13 season, Tom Droney gave Davidson a steady, high-IQ two-way presence: 4.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, plus the team’s best 2.8 assist-to-turnover ratio and an 84.4% free-throw clip. He’s the kind of guard coaches trust because he can handle, rebound, distribute and stay on the floor, appearing in all 34 games that season. At 6-6, he brings size, unselfishness and reliable efficiency rather than flashy volume, which makes him a clean fit for a team that values structure, toughness and low-mistake basketball.
