Projectable Right-Hander with Recruited Arm Strength
Colin Scherer has profile markers that matter for a pitching fit: Perfect Game listed him as a 2023 right-handed pitcher with national and Virginia state rankings, which signals real recruiting traction and a baseline of evaluated talent. His upside is tied to being a durable, development-friendly arm rather than a flashy stat-line pitcher, so he stands out more for projection and role potential than for a loaded public performance résumé. If you want a coachable RHP with room to grow, he’s worth a closer look.
