FDU freshman Sofia Spatocco brought instant spark to the Knights' lineup
In the 2026 season, Sofia Spatocco emerged as a versatile freshman for Fairleigh Dickinson, splitting time in the outfield and utility spots while flashing immediate clutch value: she delivered her first collegiate hit as a bases-clearing double against Manhattan and has already shown the kind of bench-to-lineup impact coaches love[2][3]. FDU’s roster notes list her as an outfield/utility addition, and the season stats page shows she contributed in a limited but meaningful role, which points to a player with upside, adaptability, and a competitive edge rather than just box-score flash[2][9].
