Citadel's Assist Machine Turned Proven Coaching Prodigy
In the 2019-20 season at The Citadel, guard Tyson Batiste exploded as a graduate transfer captain, ranking 40th nationally with 5.3 assists per game (160 total, 4th in program history), 3rd in SoCon in APG, alongside 7.0 PPG and 3.9 RPG on a stellar 1.50 AST/TO ratio—showcasing elite vision, leadership, and poise under pressure. A natural floor general with captaincy at CCSU and Citadel, he's now a rising assistant coach at Arkansas (2026), having boosted rebounding margins at Sac State (top-25 nationally). Ideal for teams craving selfless playmakers who elevate teammates.
