veteran 3-and-D wing with shot-making upside
Hankerson is a 6-foot-5 guard who has long shown a scoring punch and perimeter range, with recent pro stops indicating he can still create offense and hit threes at a useful clip; in the 2024-25 B.League season he averaged 13.5 points, 3.8 assists and 1.0 steal in limited action, while his G League seasons showed steady 3-point production and workable playmaking. The fit question is whether you need a versatile veteran who can handle the ball a bit, stretch the floor, and bring experience, rather than a high-usage creator or elite stopper.
