promising Furman tight end still waiting for his first true college impact
Preston Ross is an intriguing TE prospect for Furman because his college résumé is still mostly projection: he redshirted in 2023 and was injured in preseason in 2024, so he has yet to log meaningful game action.[1] That makes him a fit for teams that value long-term development and patience over instant production, but it also means there is limited on-field evidence to judge his current performance or stat-based upside.
